We have some awesome news for you guys today! Virtuoso super group Animals As Leaders have found a great replacement for ex-drummer Navene Koperweis. Or at least it seriously looks that way. Nothing has been officially announced, but they are currently working in the studio with the ridiculously talented Swedish drummer Morgan Ågren. Guitarist Javier Reyes posted pictures of himself, Tosin Abasi, and Morgan in the studio with the message, “Something awesome currently happening.” That’s what we like to hear! We have the photographic evidence, a video of Morgan Ågren jamming with Meshuggah’s Fredrik Thordendal, and some AAL tracks for your brains to feast on.
