The band will be releasing their newest single “Xenophobia” off their upcoming EP “A.I.” this Friday through iTunes. While they’re not signed, My City My Secret is managed by Shawn Spann of Creation Management and metal band I, The Breather. That’s a huge accomplishment for any local band.
My City My Secret has been through rough times through the years. Their Facebook page was hacked when they hit around 6,000 likes. The band had to start from scratch but with the release of their EP “Dream Beings” last year and the countless support of the fans, they are now over 8,000 likes.
“Xenophobia” is only a taste of the evolution that My City My Secret has gone through within a year. Vocalist Adam Fabozzi and screamer Keith Kuzara have both improved vocally. Their voices/screams are stronger and even better live. The Caleb Shomo (Beartooth/Attack Attack) produced track is filled with electronic accents and contains heavier material than most of their other songs. Plus, My City My Secret’s inspiring messages encompassed in their lyrics continue in “Xenophobia.”
