There’s big news regarding German sludge metal masters The Ocean. In fact they have just released a new music video for their song “The Wish in Dreams” off their latest album “Pelagial” which is for sure one of the most successful and acclaimed album of 2013 so far. The video perfectly fits with the dark and submerged atmosphere suggested by the song and the whole album itself.
The video was premiered a few days after the announcement of the second part of their “Pelagial World Tour 2013”, which will take place in Europe between October and November. The first part is taking place right now in North America with their shows in the Summer Slaughter Tour with The Dillinger Escape Plan and many other unbelievably sick bands. They’ll also visit Mexico, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Russia. After that they’ll head back to Europe for the second part of their tour starting in October with the headlining show at this year’s Euroblast Festival and will be playing at ProgPower Festival in the Netherelands with Baroness. After that, they’ll head out on a long tour across Europe with the support of 3 amazing bands: Norwegian black jazz band Shining, Tides From Nebula and Hacride.
