Here’s one for all the prog heads out there. Bad Salad is an extremely talented Brazilian band twisting out high-end Progressive Metal. Their sound resembles that of Dream Theater among others. However, they bring a unique taste to the table. This was especially recognized when they set sail on the Progressive Nation At Sea cruise this year. Listen and learn.
They initially emerged in 2007 to enter a cycle of building and refinement. This led to the release of their solid debut album, “Uncivilized”, in 2012. A year later they put out arguably their best material to date with the EP, “Puzzled”. That entire EP is available for online streaming (including a sweet music video for the track “Deep Roots”)!
