BandsToWatchOutFor

Here are three bands to keep tabs on.

SuicideSilence4

Releasing their first album "The Cleansing" in 2007, Suicide Silence became a new feel for the metal community. Involving grimy breakdowns and classified hardcore vocals in their sound, they became a threat. As popularity began, they were easily accepted. Mitch Lucker's vocals and performance had an impact on the crowd like no other. He was a stomping burst of powerful energy, so to speak. As they progressed in their careers, the fan base rapidly expanded. With that being said, Suicide Silence had changed direction. The album "Black Crown" arrived, cementing the band as legends in the deathcore field. But fame came before the fall. Mitch Lucker passed in 2012. The community was torn, he was one of those high riser types of front men. Everyone felt the presence whether they liked it or not. Now here's the reason to watch out – In late 2013, Suicide Silence acquired a new vocalist, Eddie Hermida from All Shall Perish. Looking forward to seeing how the new look and sound turns out. Watch out, could be brutal!

Nails

Hailing from Southern California, Nails have been crushing the field for awhile now. This was especially true of last year's "Abandon All Life". With their grinding hardcore / punk / metal sound, they're a force to be reckoned with. Not to mention Nails have inked a deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment to release their as-of-yet-untitled third album. This rabidly anticipated full-length is currently tentatively scheduled to be unleashed upon the masses sometime in the first quarter of 2015.

Structures2

Let's get something straight, Structures is a very powerful hardcore / metal force. Recently dropping to a 3 man queue (with the exception of touring members), they put out a stunning album "Life Through A Window". These musicians are unrealistic at times. Bass is really not necessary at this point considering the killer guitar work. Bringing on a force of excellence and rage, they've managed to keep things alive. I believe there is a wide open window for these troops. If you haven't already, I advise you check them out. You will not be disappointed. They serve as positive influences, and most of all – Structures never seem to quit. Keep it coming fellas!!!!! Looking forward to hearing more and seeing them on tour. Fucking metal! \m/
