After launching their new heavily electronic-influenced project, The Delta Mode, German progressive metal combo Syqem have premiered a new track called “Hold On”. A song like this is surely going to split the opinions of their fanbase because, once again, it has heavy electronic influence. That being said, the vibe you get from it is definitely reminiscent of the atmospheres enjoyed on the band’s latest release “Reflections on Elephants”.
The point is, if you’re hoping to hear more heavy melodies pounding from two 8 strings guitars, you might be disappointed. But, if you’re that kind of open-minded metalhead able to appreciate well-structured electronic music, you might end up liking this track quite a lot since the melody and the chorus really get stuck in the mind.
