Xerath, the Founding Fathers of Orchestra Groove Metal are back. Their new album Xerath 3 is released next month and I was lucky enough to have a chat about it with their new Axeman Conor McGouran.
All achieved via the wonderful medium of Skype, we cover not only the new L.P but also his influences, what its like joining an established band, as well as rhapsodising over how much Jazz Fusion has enriched both our lives.
Now I’m a boring bastard but he’s an incredibly interesting chap with a delightful Irish brogue so why not check it out and be seduced by news of the new record and its delightful contents as well as his mellifluous voice.
Enjoy fellow Techists, enjoy.
