This is honestly one of my favorite exclusives in awhile. The reason being that Jules Julio Martinez is a truly magnificent guitarist taking direct influence from some of my more obscure favorites. In other words, if you like Exivious, Allan Holdsworth, and Cynic, you’re going to LOVE the music of Jules “Julio” Martinez.
Hailing from France, Jules creates absolute musical insanity crossing creativity, chaos, and taste. His album “DSM” is a truly magnificent step into largely uncharted territories. Conceptually, it surrounds the human mind, or rather, psychological defects of the human mind with song titles such as “Dementia” and “Somatoform” among others.
It’s fully recommended you give this man’s work a good listen!
