I randomly stumbled upon this one man Black Metal band from Edmonton awhile back. And it's safe to say I'm glad for it.
Mark Rafferty is the name to keep in mind. He single-handedly constructs music that could be placed in the upper echelons of Black Metal. With a brilliant control of melancholy, atmosphere, and absolute chaos, this music may hit you in ways you wouldn't expect. Even if Black Metal isn't your thing, this one man band is worth looking into.
