Here's a brand new band stemming from Leeds. But don't let their recent birth deceive you. Pravitas is a band with a considerably tight sound which could even be considered beyond their years. Which makes the reality of this upstart that much more interesting. However, some parts still need polish. Only time will tell what comes next.

But right now, were looking at the band's debut EP, "Queen Nothing" which certainly brings more substance than not. And it's all condensed into three, great four-minute tracks – "Jäätelötötterö", "Shroud For Burial", and the title track. The goods are delivered through a merge of Progressive and Technical Death Metal.

If this sounds like a good time waiting to happen, I recommend you press the "play" button just below and "name your price" for the music on Bandcamp! Support for Pravitas is much deserved.
