Death Fortress is a band hailing from the darkness that is New Jersey. They work towards the provision of truly wicked, awesome, raw black metal. The band has been around a few years but this month saw the release of their first full-length album, "Among the Ranks of the Unconquerable", through Fallen Empire Records. It's some great material if the abyss of black metal happens to be your thing. I personally just gave the whole thing a listen and it left a grim smile on my face.
