This is one for all the nerds out there (ourselves included)… Apparently Grand Theft Auto V nearly had a metal friendly radio station on it’s line-up called PMR. And it would’ve been hosted by none other than Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor. So close, yet so far.
This was discovered with the PC release of the video game as gamers have been searching the hidden corners of code found in GTAV. The station was canned during the development process of the game, never to be heard again. In addition to metal, apparently the station was to host grunge as well.
Luckily, there are ways to make your own metal stations on Grand Theft Auto anyways (or at least on the PC version…). So get to it if you’re playing!
