To whom it may concern, the hip-hop side project driven by Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda has officially made a return. It was done quite abruptly when Mike brought an all new Fort Minor single Sunday night to end a 10 year wait following 2005’s “The Rising Tied”. The single, “Welcome”, is available for FREE DOWNLOAD over on the official website. There also seems to be promise of a new album following suit.
There are noticeable differences in the sound from what was previously delivered on “The Rising Tied” album and DJ Green Lantern hosted “We Major” mixtape. It also appears as if Ryu and Tak and the rest of Styles of Beyond will not be present for this go around. But, if you’re a fan of the project, it could be worth a listen. So go ahead.
