Looking for some awesome post-metal? Your search is over. Presenting Trysth, a band hailing from Sofia, Bulgaria. And their weapon choice is exactly that intricate, intelligent approach of post-metal that you’ve been looking for. This comes complete with a side of sludge. Give a listen for a trip. Seriously.
This is put on full display through the band’s debut full-length “Soulchambers”. This is an independent release and an absolutely solid effort to boot. It delivers six lengthy tracks of quality content you’ll want to wrap your ears around.
Better yet, the entire album is available for a “name your price” download over on Bandcamp. This includes a full stream. Give a listen and show some love if you enjoy!
Founded by Assen Santev and Georgi Yoshovski back in 2005, initially Trysth evolved into a black metal project. At the end of 2011, Yavor Dimov joined the duo and this opened a new page for Trysth. Embracing the sludge/post metal style as a new emotional expression, in the summer of 2013, the band entered Urban House studio to record its first full-length album entitled “Soulchambers”.
