August Burns Red is a band that has never shied away from the holiday spirit. They’ve been releasing metal style Christmas music for years now, even putting out a full album “Sleddin’ Hill” along with annual holiday shows in their home of Lancaster, PA. Given their christian heritage and exceptional musicianship, it’s not hard to see why.

So how fitting is it that ABR is leading the charge on the first ever “Punk Goes Christmas” compilation album? For this cause, the band opted to cover the theme of the cult  classic movie “Home Alone”. It turned out pretty damn well and is worth the listen along with a chuckle. Check it out along with the original John Williams version down below.

If you’re interested in picking up the compilation or simply finding more information on what’s to come, you can do so by clicking here. “Punk Goes Christmas” will officially be released this Friday.
