Hidden away in a secluded valley metropolis, Forsythia has brushed off the sand natural to their climate bringing a modern and progressive metal experience pounding from the heart of the Northwest. Forsythia’s sophmore release “Sonder”, released today, expands upon the sound of their previous, debut album “Aversions”. Familiar song structures, spacious ambiance, and dynamic rhythm sections lends the listener a pleasant metal experience.

“My inspiration for this album was the concept of Sonder from the Dictinary of Obscure Sorrows. I wanted to highlight my insights and observations of people interacting in everyday life. Sometimes inquisitive and sometimes apathetic towards the human condition.” Describes Russel.

“Sonder” can now be listened to in its entirety through YouTube! It’s also available for a “name your price” download over on Bandcamp! The sophomore release will also be released instrumentally. Stay tuned for that.
