This is a band that has proven to be simultaneously hypnotic and dangerous. Combining elements of Black, Doom, and Post-Metal with a good dose of experimentation, Verlies has the ability to surprise the listener in a number of ways – all while putting them into a trance of sorts. In short, this is very good material which could be considered unique in a number of ways.
This hypnotic effect shows in full force through the band’s newest album “Le Domaine Des Hommes”. This was released back in May through Hypnotic Dirge Records.
