Here’s a band that I came across by mere chance and DAMN am I glad for it. Exploding from Ukraine, Hectic is a highly talented Death Metal band bringing in serious elements of technicality and experimentation that makes their music truly exciting. They’re not afraid to step outsides the norms of the sub-genre to create music to call their own. And it looks to have benefited them sonically in the long run.
This month, Hectic released their second EP “Purification” as a follow up to 2014’s “Inconsistent Mind Cell”. Both of these releases are really something to behold for fans of extreme music. And better yet! They’re both available for an unbelievable “name your price” download over on Bandcamp! It’s always hard to beat a deal like that.
