It has begun! The Black Dahlia Murder are back in the studio recording an all new album to follow up the success of 2015’s “Abysmal” (which was the opposite of what it’s title suggests).
Given the band’s history of releasing a new album every two years since 2003, it comes as no surprise that we’ll be getting a new LP this year! It has been confirmed that the currently untitled effort will be released through Metal Blade Records this Fall.
The recording happened at The Pipeyard Studio over in Michigan earlier this year. The final product is currently being mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Aborted, Volbeat) over in Denmark. You can hear roughly a minute of new material from the studio through the videos right here:
