According to NewsOK, former Revocation drummer Phil Dubois-Coyne just accepted a $30,000 settlement after suing Oklahoma City for a false arrest and excessive force that resulted in a broken arm back in 2014.

The events occurred at an after party following a show in which Dubois-Coyne was charged with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and resisting a police officer after chanting “fuck the police.” He paid the fine for the public drunkenness charge and the other charges were ultimately waived.

His attorney Holly Hefton had the following to say of this, “”He’s pretty famous with heavy metal rock bands. He’s still playing. He had a little bit of deformity to his arm after all this. He has the option of surgery but his doctors have told him that by correcting it he could end up with nerve damage. He’s relearning how to play with his situation now.”

He left Revocation back in 2015 and currently works as a drum tech for Cannibal Corpse.
