While speaking with Yutani.blog, visual effects artist and general film guru Dominic Hailstone (Alien: Covenant, Mogwai music videos, ISIS music videos) had the following to say of a recent project:
“A video for Tool that should be coming out later this year. Adam Jones gave me complete artistic freedom so the only constraint was the budget, we had a lot of fun figuring that out. Other than that Alien Covenant as I was working with friends I hadn’t seen in over 15 years. That was special.”
Given his professional record and connections, there’s no reason not to believe him. Between this and the whirlwind of speculation in recent history, the new Tool album may finally (actually) be coming out soon… Stay tuned…
