3/26/18 UPDATE – Lamb of God are indeed bringing back Burn The Priest but not in the ways that were previously theorized. They’ll be launching a covers album under this name to shed light on the influences that helped develop the band.

The record will be known as “Legion: XX” and will hit stores on May 18th via Epic Records. The outing was produced by the band’s go-to Josh Wilbur. In support of this, the band is now streaming the opening track “Inherit The Earth”. Pre-orders are now available over on Amazon.

01. Inherit The Earth (The Accused)
02. Honey Bucket (Melvins)
03. Kerosene (Big Black)
04. Kill Yourself (S.O.D.)
05. I Against I (Bad Brains)
06. Axis Rot (Sliang Laos)
07. Jesus Built My Hotrod (Ministry)
08. One Voice (Agnostic Front)
09. Dine Alone (Quicksand)
10. We Gotta Know (Cro-Mags)

Original Story – For those who don’t know, the band Lamb of God used to go by the name of Burn The Priest and put out their debut, self-titled album under that name. They would, of course, go onto make the switch and become one of the most beloved bands out there today.

However, it appears they may be bringing back Burn The Priest soon… Possibly for a re-recording considering the original album came out slightly less than 20 years ago… The following teaser was just launched with the simple message “#BurnThePriest xx 3.23.18”

Let’s wait and see what happens here…
