The metal community has lost another key legend… Vinnie Paul Abbott of Pantera fame and more passed away in his sleep as the result of a massive heart attack… He was only 54 years old…
It goes without saying that he is profoundly missed and the sorrow throughout the metal community is palpable. He will be remembered as one of the key forces that helped bring an entirely new face and force to the genre.
With this, he rejoins his brother, fellow Pantera member, and fellow innovator “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott. May they forever rest in power and metal \m/
