Fargo, North Dakota is known for a few things. It’s a notoriously cold place to be in winter. It’s also the state’s most populace city and has had a critically acclaimed movie, a show, and more named after it. All of this is to say, from an outside perspective, Fargo seems to inspire good things.

The band Trance Monolith is no exception to this! Between five members, they produce a massive Progressive Metal sound that can easily compete with and even best a number of their contemporaries. This is brought about through a positive drive, hard work, the channeling of raw emotion, and a high level of talent spread among these musicians.

All of this comes crashing together on their new self-titled album! This was just dropped on the world today and amounts to over a half hour’s worth of fresh content across a 7-track spread. The LP is currently available on most major online music platforms. This includes the likes of Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon.

Their self-titled effort is the result of four years hard work. They’ve been constructing this record since their inception meaning there’s been a lot of thought and love put into place here. It all translates quite well into the final product which I’m sure a number of you will enjoy!

Speaking of social networks, Trance Monolith took to them and made a rather impactful statement about the new album and its intention recently:

It’s been 4 years. 4 years since the inception of this band. 4 years of grinding regularly through life to make time to create the album we are proud to share with you. It’s hard to believe we have finally completed this monumental task. Truly, this has been the most difficult album for any of us to write. A lot of sleepless nights, countless hours, days, months and years devoted to this seven song short musical story.

Trance Monolith has delivered and will continue to deliver quality heartfelt music. We strive every single day to create the music and stories that subliminally help you through both great and dark times. We love each and every one of you. We hope to catch you at future shows. Please keep supporting your local acts. Do not give up on the musical scene you are a part of. Thank you all so much for the love. Welcome to the Trance Monolith Family.

May the Monolith you manifest from your genuine character impact others in a positive way. We dedicate this album to you.

Respect.
