JINJER Tour Review + Photos w/ P.O.D., VENDED, SPACE OF VARIATIONS

For the past two weeks, JINJER have been ripping across the United States, opening mosh pits and leaving great times in their wake. They have plans to do the same for yet another month with a brief run in Australia between the USA stops – all before taking over Europe and the United Kingdom in 2023! They’re joined on this particular North American venture by no less than San Diego nu-metal heroes P.O.D., Iowa’s own VENDED (select dates), fellow Ukranian band / label-mates SPACE OF VARIATIONS, and the heavy hitting MALEVOLENCE (select dates).

If you can’t tell from the hype laden opening, we all had a great time at this show the night of November 17th at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD. JINJER played to a full house and we watched as SPACE OF VARIATIONS, VENDED and P.O.D. brought the energy up before the explosive headliner took the stage.

JINJER came out swinging with “Sit Stay Roll Over”, instantly sending the crowd into a frenzy through it’s blasting introduction. They carved a variety of sounds from across their discography for a powerful set lead by the dynamic vocal abilities of Tatiana Shmailyuk. Every member of this band acts together as a cohesive force, directing the crowd with the sweet sounds of metallic distortion weaving gracefully into their calmer moments as well. Guitarist Roman Ibramkhalilov, drummer Vladislav “Vladi” Ulasevich, and bassist Eugene Abdukhanov all delivered stand out performances. Collectively, they’re a force to be reckoned with!
