Many announcements just sprung up from camp Periphery. First and foremost, the band has announced a brand new album “Periphery III: Select Difficulty” to be released on July 22nd through Sumerian Records. Second, it has been announced that bassist / producer Adam “Nolly” Getgood will no longer be a touring member of the band – settling into a more permanent studio position. The live replacement has yet to be announced. And, finally, the band has announced the “Sonic Unrest Tour” for August and September. They’ll be joined by none other than SikTh, Chon, and Toothgrinder on this venture!

In support of the upcoming Periphery III album, the band has been releasing a series of mini-teasers, if you will. Essentially, they’re 15 second teasers composed of micro clips from sections all around the album. It’s basically an effective method of giving you a significant taste while leaving most everything shrouded in mystery. You can a listen to these for yourself right here:
