For those who haven’t heard, we’ve lost a legend. Chris Cornell has passed away. The beloved singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave fame left us Wednesday night with his passing in Detroit, Michigan. He was only 52. The cause of death has been determined to be a suicide, taking all his family and friends by surprise. He will be sorely missed as his music lives on.

His final performance with Soundgarden took place Wednesday night at The Fox Theater in Detroit. The last song they performed was “Slaves & Bulldozers” following “Rusty Cage” in an encore performance. He also sang Led Zeppelin’s “In My Time of Dying” during this segment quoting, “In my time of dying, I want nobody to mourn. All I want for you to do is take my body home.”

The set was recorded and posted up on the YouTube channel Uncle Sam – Alive in Detroit and can, likewise, be found in a number of other locations. So, for those who are interested in watching this man’s last performance, you may do so through the videos found below. More can be found through the aforementioned channel.
