MiserySignals

Misery Signals just announced that their original lineup will be making a reunion show in California. Here's the official press release.

Milwaukee based metalcore outfit Misery Signals celebrated the 10th anniversary of their album Of Malice and the Magnum Heart, with the Malice X tour, playing shows in select cities in August. Due to popular demand from fans the band is back for round two for fans on the West Coast announcing a show at the Glasshouse Theater in Pomona, CA on December 19, 2014. Malice X features the original lineup of Ryan Morgan, Branden Morgan, Kyle Johnson, Stu Ross, and Jesse Zaraska.

Kyle Johnson, bassist, had this to say:

"After doing the first run of the Malice X dates I think it made us realize just how important it was for kids to be able to see this version of Misery Signals. So many had missed it in its original incarnation. There seemed to be a bit of an outcry that we didn't include California as a destination on the last run. We managed to find a weekend in December that worked out so we jumped at the opportunity."

Along with the special appearance in California, Misery Signals will be joined by seminal hardcore band, Taken to the show as direct support. Vocalist Ray Harkins commented:

"I wish Misery Signals was around when Taken was regularly touring. When I first listened to their demo/EP I felt an immediate kinship to what they were doing, blending heavy music and melodic guitar into something unique. A few months later, the guitarist Stu Ross sent a very heartfelt and sincere email about how much Taken had meant to him. From that point on a friendship was formed and I continued to love what Misery Signals did throughout their musical career. We can't wait to hit the stage with these guys for the first time, and hopefully not the last."
