This new band was recommended to us by our old writer and good man Trisolino. Conducting From The Grave vocalist Mikey Powell teamed up with the notoriously prolific Wide Eyes mastermind Chris Vogagis to bring you Emergence. This is a collaborative effort bringing a deathcore/metalcore/djent sound with some weight and a good bit of atmosphere to it.
Their self-titled debut album just dropped exactly a week back. All in all, it delivers 12 solid tracks. They bring an interesting perspective on these artists and it's cool to hear just how diverse Mikey Powell's vocals can be as he screams and sings.
