We have a treat for you good people today! It turns out Katie Thompson, who has collaborated with Fallujah, Chiasma, etc, has a metal project of her own! In conjunction with the artists Andrey Virchenko, Alex “Nimrod” Kopteev, and Yaroslav Naumenko – they’re collectively known as Kadebra. Better yet, they play some truly awesome modern metal music just waiting to worm into your ears!
This month, they launched a conceptually massive album inspired by no less than the science fiction classic Frank Herbert’s Dune. It goes by the name of “Compass” and is currently available for streaming and purchase over on the band’s official Bandcamp page. You can also enjoy the music through platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music to name a few.
In support of the new record, Kadebra have been releasing a series of new videos. The latest of these was made for the track “Navigators” and is essentially an awesome playthrough video showing off the guitar work and vocal sides of things.
