Septycal Gorge very well might be the most brutal band you listen to today. Hailing from Italy, their sound rivals the likes of Suffocation and Deeds of Flesh. Listening to Septycal Gorge is like have your mind steamrolled (in the best way possible). Their music is as aggressive as it is coldy controlled. This is certainly a treat for those of you with brutal taste buds.
The band’s new album “Scourge of the Formless Breed” was just released on the butt end of last week. It has been spreading terror and metal dominance, spanning into this week and I’m sure it will reach far beyond. The musical and technical prowess displayed on this album is really something to behold. It delivers 9 tracks of absolute devastation and just makes you want to open a massive circle pit with it’s blazing riffs and high speed drumming.
