Ovid's Withering, the heavy as fuck proponents of Mythcore enfused Death Metal have signed to Unique Leader Records. There are few details other than the bare bones of the deal available at present but this marks a deserved and timely progression for the Tampa based outfit, as it is exactly one year to the day since the release of their Monstrous and perpetually pounding Debut album Scryers of the Ibis.
The deal seems to see them still remain some way in partnership with their original label Subliminal Groove Records, but more details about that when they emerge. However we'd just like to congratulate Ovid, as this bigger platform will hopefully mean more exposure for one of underground metals most eviscerating bands.
Ovid's Withering are currently working on their sophomore album. And very excited about it I am too!
