Northland. Remember that name because that band released one of the best metal albums this year has seen thus far – "Downfall and Rebirth". And in celebration of their conquest, they've just released a slick, new lyric video for their momentous opening track "When Nature Awakens".
I stumbled across this band on Bandcamp a few weeks back and, to be frank, I fucking love them! Northland is a Spanish band that flawlessly blends Folk and Death metal on a very high compositional level. This musical unit is beyond excellent when it comes to their craft. "Downfall and Rebirth" serves as supreme evidence of this.
It's highly recommend you get this album in your ears as soon as possible. As luck would have it, the effort is streaming in its entirety on said Bandcamp page and down below. Press that "play" button and see what you think. You might just be floored by the greatness.
