The highly talented Nick Schendzielos, already of Job For A Cowboy and Cephalic Carnage, is stepping into yet another role as a bassist. He has joined none other than the stuff of modern thrash legend with Havok. This is yet another big career move from this man and his rumble from down under. It’s an exciting prospect to consider what he’ll do in his new role.

So far, we know this… In replacement of Mike Leon, Nick will be working with Havok on their upcoming album and hit the road with them on the upcoming headline tour. He also had the following to say:

“I’m incredibly excited to be working with Havok. Been friends with the dudes forever, always have a blast with ’em, and now I get to thrash with ’em! I have big shoes to fill…Mike is a really, really solid player, but I think my playing style will mix in really well and fans will dig it. The new music is by far the coolest Havok I’ve ever heard. Can’t wait to release it!”

Furthermore, guitarist Reece Scruggs said the following of Nick:

“Nick’s skills are documented, go check it out yourselves. He’s a guy that’s well respected amongst our peers and loved by his friends and band mates. It was an obvious choice to get him for the record and upcoming tour.”
