Doom

Metal music of all sorts seems to be more and more ingrained with video game culture as time goes on. Whether it be additions to the soundtrack or even full blown ventures like Brütal Legend in years past. The latest triumph (and essentially reboot) of DOOM is no exception. The game features a few tracks which most definitely bring the heavy. Furthermore, they do so with a modern djent edge, bringing the rumble from down under as you slaughter hordes. You can check out some tracks below and if you’re interested in the game, head over to the Official Website for more information!

The music for DOOM was written by the man Mick Gordon, who was also responsible for the soundtracks for Wolfenstein & Killer Instinct. It’s also worth noting that Fredrik Thordendal of Meshuggah wrote a track for the last Wolfenstein game which you can check out by CLICKING HERE.
