Welcome to a world of orchestral and progressive delights. Stemming from Sydney, Nova Incepta is an exceptional musical force transporting unsuspecting listeners to new realms through forms of aural transportation. Lush, exotic, and experimental sounds await all those who pass. As hinted, this band’s sound can be magnified into two main categories, but that would honestly be doing them an injustice. Nova Incepta makes the music Nove Incepta wants to make and they do a damn good job of it.
Their latest release “New Initiatives” serves as a testament to this. Composed of six tracks (five of which form the “Inabstain” series) over nearly a half hour ride, this functions as a great debut for a very promising band. Seeing the light of day late last month, the record is currently available for purchase over on Bandcamp for all those who enjoy the music.
