Background: Here’s an exciting, new Brutal Death Metal band bringing collaborative pain from Belgium, Australia and the US of A. They are Neuromoral Dissonance and they’re just getting started with their debut full-length “My Wisdom My Grief” to follow up the opening 2019 EP “Trespassers Will Be Violated”. This 30-minute monstrosity was recently unleashed on the world via Amputated Vein Records. Let’s see how it goes!

This Album Sounds Like: being forcibly dissected by an evil alien necromancer. This is a near-perfect mix of musicality, technicality, and all out pulverizing brutality. If you consider yourself to be a fan of extreme metal, let this one peel the skin from your ears as soon as possible.

Some Favorite Tracks: To be perfectly honest, I enjoyed the whole batch while listening to this album from front to back repeatedly at work. It makes for great aural overload and, therefore, solid productivity type music. Many individual moments stuck out, but I just recommend the bunch if you’re looking for solid Brutal Death Metal. No weak links here.

Positives: This is pure Devastation in audio form. Every number of this band is disgustingly talented and it shows on every track. There’s a beautifully demented combination of high-end skill and just pure brutality happening Here. There’s also a great deal of creativity coming through from instrumental twists to the sound design which invigorated some of the tracks. There’s a constant ominous bend to this music, creating a wicked atmosphere.

Negatives: Though every instrument shines through the mix, I thought the production seemed a bit dulled. Also the vocals didn’t always do it for me being a consistent growl without much variety. I’ll also say some of the slower moments could veer from the direction of originality.

In The End… this is one of the finest / most brutal extreme metal albums I’ve heard in 2020. I’m giving this one a well-deserved 9 out of 10. Big kudos to Neuromoral Dissonance! I said it before and I’ll say it again – if you consider yourself to be a fan of extreme metal, you should press play as soon as possible. Speaking of which, the album is currently available for streaming on this page along with many of your favorite music platforms. Go get it.
