Counters are a new band bringing the "Disquiet" from the shores of Bari, Italy. Their mission lies in attempting to bring something somewhat sonically new out of the modern djent / progressive metal movement while simultaneously embracing the approach.
Thus far, the newfound five man band has released their first single in "Disquiet" and a teaser. But how does this career opening content match up with the mission statement? After giving my fair share of listens, I'd say it's a good start. All the groove and technicality is intact while they bring a few of their own twists into the mix.
